| Hello, Good Evening and Welcome
Tune in train on and drop us a line It is difficult to know where to start but I shall take my inspiration from the much underrated twentieth century philosopher Julie Andrews who famously stated in word and tune that the beginning is a very good place to start. Thank you Julie, you are a colossus. Budo Warrior Schools Shodan, Ryan Hale who performed a more than reasonable impersonation of Arnold Schwarzenegger for a multitude of Japanese children and one or two over eager adults during a three week stay in Japan in 2004 is responsible for the design and construction of this site. I wanted a site that looked a little different and we have it. I am particularly pleased with the groovy seventies style rounded corners, it just smells of kaftans and bell bottomed jeans. Thank you Ryan, you can stand next to Julie but be careful she is a little frail and none too big. For all of you Budo Warriors who have missed the monthly newsletters (Ah! those were the days when it cost me over a £100 a year just in photocopies) will now have this to read and muse over during those long hours of boredom. Also just as in the paper version anyone who wishes to add their words and to be judged as a wordsmith can mail me any time as I have twenty four hour email budowarriors@aol.com and it did not cost me a penny extra. If you have any links that you would like to be included, if you have a product or service or know of one that may be of interest please send them on to me and they will be vetted by our chief vetterinary officer and then be placed accordingly. Also if you have any ideas or suggestions about the site please feel free to contact me, I cannot promise not to ignore that out of hand but I will do my utmost not to. Budo Warrior Schools a community we have enough students to fully populate our own small village, I am not too sure what it would be called that will have to be a work in progress but in any case we are a like minded community. With that in mind you must think of this site as the local Pub or village hall or church or mosque …. Well, you get the idea, use it to get to know everyone and pop in for a chat and some gossip. There are some excellent forums on here and the news and articles will be constantly updated along with the galleries. Things to look forward to, first and foremost Budo Bash 7! Has it really been seven years since we started this fantastic annual seminar, unless I have difficulty with numbers (which sadly enough I do) it must be and it clearly is because my loveliest one and Budo Warrior Schools bedrock Michelle who can count quite freely in the Carol Voderman cast can confirm the chronology. Bill Liddle and John Gardner will both once again show and tell about this wonderful art of the Bujinkan to the eager and massed ranks of students from across the UK assembled in the Town Hall of the small Wiltshire town of Cricklade. If you are certain that you wish to attend Budo Bash 7 over the last weekend of February as it is every year please send your £10 deposit ASAP to: |
