BIGGER & BETTER IN JAPAN
THURSDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER IS BLAST OFF DAY FOR SHIDOSHI MARC MOOR and Michelle Murray 4th Dan, Kevin Mercer 4th Dan, Pete Mo 4th Dan, Ryan Hobbs 2nd Dan, Clive Richards 2nd Dan and Michael Bartlett Shodan along with Rob Chadwick and Carl Skingle from other Bujinkan dojo. They will all be spending around two weeks in the Bujinkan capital of Nodashi, about an hour and a half north of Tokyo by a very excellent and
punctual Japanese train.

During their stay Michelle, Kevin and Pete will be all put forward for the 5th Dan or Sakki test and your Shidoshi feels that every one of them will do Budo Warrior Schools very proud indeed, and this will mark a new and exciting leap forward for all concerned. Gambatte kudasai! As they would say in them there parts but with a slightly more authentic Japanese accent.

The excited party will return with gifts and tales of daring do from the other end of the world on the 11th October.

Torquay Taijutsu 2007

Prior to his latest trip to the Bujinkan Honbu Dojo in Japan Marc Moor will be instructing at the inaugural Torquay taijutsu day hosted by Robb Rigg Shidoshi ho on Sunday 23rd September 2007 11.00am to 5.00pm at Torquay Girls Grammar School, Shiphay Lane, Torquay TQ2 7DY

This excellent facility has a large well lit hall and extensive grounds so the emphasis of this training day will be on long traditional weapons. Please bring bo staff and bokken also yari and naginata if you have them.

BUDO WARRIOR SCHOOLS DVD
HANG ON TO YOUR BOKKENS AND GIRD YOUR LOINS BECAUSE THE FUTURE IS NOW. The filming for the totally fabulous DVD will be on Sunday 2nd December 2007 at the
Mori dojo in Newnham-on-Severn. At this stage only Black Belts will appear on film showing techniques. If there are any green belts who would wish to appear by telling of your positive experiences within Budo Warrior Schools, you can have your stardom too. If any one Black Belt or otherwise who wishes to appear on the DVD please let your Shidoshi have your name no later than 2nd November. This DVD will be produced to sell to Budo Warrior Schools Students and beyond as in High Street shops and Amazon etc. They say that the television puts on 10lbs… just a weighty warning as I know how slim I am going to be by then... You are going to be so impressed.

BIG BUDO WARRIOR FUN TIME

KNOWN THAT there is to be much Moor fun andfrivolity within and Budo Warrior Schools. The
proposal is that every dojo should have a fun boss and their job is to organise social activities for their respective dojo and to help is the Budo Warrior Schools Big Boss Fun Time Coordinator (BWSBBFTC for short) who is Nathaniel Cooke from the Shin Gi Tai dojo in Gloucester, it is his job to organise a more global approach to fun time, for more information or ideas contact nathaniel.cooke@blueyonder.co.uk

FLOODY HELL!
INDEED, IT WAS FLOODY HELL ACROSS THE GREAT COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE but as your Shidoshi lives in just about the poshist part of the county where the local council was able forbid the waters from the village boundaries, thus enabling him to smugly offer aid in the form of a clean shower to the more unfortunates like Kevin Mercer and Nathaniel (with an ’e’) Cooke from the lower reaches.

IS SHE MAD OR WHAT?
MICHELLE MURRAY IS MOUNTING A CAMPAIN TO CHANGE THE NAME of Budo Warrior Schools stalwart Kevin Mercer, she feels that Monty is a far more suitable name. So far, Kevin has made no comment.

BUDO WARRIOR SCHOOLS MEMBERSHIP CARDS
FROM JANUARY 2008 IN LINE WITH STUDENT FEEDBACK your Shidoshi will introduce an annual Budo Warrior Schools membership card the cost will be £10 for the year, and it will look pretty groovy too.

YOUR SHIDOSHI CONGRATULATES ALL THE SHODAN whose names may not be familiar outside their respective dojo and who have not been named since the last newsletter, they are Conrad Osmond, Adrian Jones and Mervyn Colley all from the Sleeping Dragon dojo in Cardiff. Also Michael Bartlett of the Shin Gi Tai dojo in Gloucester and James Seddon of the Musan dojo in Plymouth, that brings the grand total of Budo Warrior Schools Black Belts to 53 and your Shidoshi is supremely confident in adding to the much smaller total of Shidoshi.

DAN WILKINSON SHIDOSHI HO HAS MADE A FINE FIST of his dojo move from the heart of Marlborough to the delightful setting of Axford, it has a great pub.

LOVELY JOB
YOUNG WILL JONES OF THE MORI DOJO IN THE VERY SPECIAL village of Newnham-on-Severn (good pubs) will be studying Ninjutsu as part of his exams next year and will also shadow your Shidoshi for his week long work experience. Now, that is a brilliant example of a smart young lad who is going to go far in this some times mean old world.
